Calm begins with a resolved plan
Functions, circulation and storage are clarified before materials or furniture are selected. Opening a volume only makes sense when the use and transitions improve.

The Studio · Creative direction and method
KAMILI creates calm, luminous and precise interiors, designed to make everyday life feel simpler.
A calm atmosphere is not a stylistic effect. It is built through precise choices.
KAMILI approaches light, proportions, circulation and materials as elements of one system. A project should be pleasing to look at, but above all clear to understand and simple to inhabit.
The creative direction relies on a contained palette, tactile textures and controlled contrasts. Every decision is connected to a use, a constraint or a stated intention.
02 / The signature
Functions, circulation and storage are clarified before materials or furniture are selected. Opening a volume only makes sense when the use and transitions improve.
An opening, finish or bespoke element must contribute to the complete project. Coherence takes precedence over an accumulation of isolated effects.
Aesthetic intentions are translated into drawings, palettes, specifications and decisions suited to the scope of the commission.
03 / The method
Understand the place, its uses, constraints, priorities and the limits of the commission.
Organise functions, circulation and volumes before refining the expression of the project.
Bring light, materials, colour, furniture and detail together in one coherent direction.
Test intentions against constraints and bring approved decisions together in the agreed deliverables.
Select and coordinate craftspeople, carry out the scheduled visits and guide the project through completion.
How it works
The proposal defines the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, programme and rhythm of supervision before work begins. Everyone involved therefore knows what they are expected to decide, produce or approve.
